He said he couldn't help it, and she believed him. The white gem was evil and it was too powerful. He had no control.

"Stop defending him."

"I'm with Conner on this one," Ethan agreed. "I mean look at what he did to Dr. O!"

Dr. O. The words made her turn to look at her fossilized teacher, still alive but encased in an amber-like substance.

Trent hadn't meant to do this, but it didn't change the fact that someone very important to her was trapped and they had no idea how to get him out alive.

Still, they needed to help him, and while Hayley didn't know if there was even a way, she agreed to try.

When they got to the lake, he was gone.

She was leaving. Moving away from the only home she'd ever known to chased her dreams of musical stardom.

She just never knew it would be this hard.

The team was gathered together at Dr. O's house out in the middle of nowhere. It was so hard to believe that this was it. This would be the last time they'd all be together for an indefinite amount of time. Yes, their powers were gone now, but it didn't change anything. Once a Ranger, always a Ranger. Once a team, always a team. More than a team. They were family.

"I'm gonna miss you guy so much."

She couldn't believe it. She was actually having to hold back tears.

The guys all gathered around to hug her, Dr. O in front of her, Conner behind her, and Ethan and Trent at her sides.

"We'll miss you, too," Conner mumbled in her ear. He was crying, she could tell, but she wasn't going tease him this time. She just leaned back into him and enjoyed the moment.
